To address these challenges, we deconstructed internal partitions to create a high-ceilinged, open-plan volume that prioritizes axial sightlines from the entrance through to the sea. The introduction of large-format, minimalist sliding glass systems effectively dissolved the building envelope, creating a seamless transition between the interior lounge and the redesigned pool deck. In the dining area, we utilized double-height volumes and strategic high-level apertures to ensure natural light acts as a primary tectonic element. Additionally, the private quarters were reimagined with integrated, monochromatic storage solutions—such as the deep blue custom cabinetry in the children’s suite—to maximize space while adding a modern character to the functional areas
